1. Hire Me
You can book my model portfolio styling services through email or my Fiverr link for virtual styling.
2. Use Natural Lighting
Natural lighting enhances the models features and gives an authentic representation of their look. Most photographers who specialise in portfolio updates prefer natural lighting for that effortless feel.
3. The Right Fit

It is important to personalise each models looks to the clients they are most likely to be booked with. This is why it is essential to stay up to date with brands, trends and creatives.
The looks I've found that work generally best with model portfolio styling are a simple fit, a sporty or streetwear look and finally something editorial and fun.
One thing I have noticed with editorial styling is the intelligent use of layers. Again this is where research and experimentation comes in. It is always important to communicate well with the agency also as they will have a specific idea on what they are after.
4. Bold Jewellery
A headshot is vital for model portfolios. Not only that but I've heard beauty and skincare campaigns are well paid.
This is where statement earrings and chunky necklaces makes all the difference. Giving the model a high end feel.

5. Make The Model Feel Comfortable
The best poses really derive from when the model is naturally moving, in a flow state and feeling comfortable.
Always make sure the model has a say in what they're wearing as they may have boundaries that need to be acknowledged. If they are a brand new model you may also want to start off with an outfit that is close to their normal wardrobe to ease into things.
Although versatility and adaptability is key for modelling, everyone is entitled to say no if they feel uncomfortable.
